GEG...E / ES / ES-2RS Series Heavy-Duty Radial Spherical Plain Bearings | TGMB
The GEG...E / ES / ES-2RS series radial spherical plain bearings from TGMB consist of an inner ring with a sphered convex outside diameter and an outer ring with a correspondingly sphered concave inside surface. Compared to the standard GE series with the same bore diameter, this series features a larger outside diameter and wider width to accommodate higher load capacities. This design is engineered to meet demanding conditions involving heavy loads, misalignment between the shaft and housing, or slow-speed oscillating, tilting, and rotating movements. It primarily supports radial loads and combined axial loads. Utilizing a classic "Steel-on-Steel" friction pair, both inner and outer rings are made of high-quality bearing steel (GCr15), undergoing precision processes including hot forging, machining, heat treatment, grinding, and surface phosphating to ensure exceptional wear resistance and fatigue strength.
Technical Highlights:
Superior Self-Aligning Capability: Automatically compensates for installation center deviations, effectively preventing additional stresses caused by shaft deflection.
High Impact Resistance: Unlike composite materials, the steel-on-steel structure is more suitable for applications with severe impact and vibration, such as excavators and mining equipment.
Dry-Film Lubrication Protection: Sliding surfaces are pre-coated with Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS2), providing fundamental anti-friction protection even before the scheduled lubrication cycle. (Pre-coated MoS2 is available upon request).
